Photo Hunt: Three

Today’s photohunt theme is “Three”.

On a garden tour with my friend E up in Mountain View in East Hawaii and I spot this huge bromeliad that had a girth of over six feet, it was gigantic. The dark bromeliads in the back were a perfect foil for this triad photo and I just happened to find the right theme for the week at photohunt.

This is my first post with photohunt's weekly meme, all their themes are easy and really create an interesting mix of interpretations. Check out.http://tnchick.com/ for other views of this meme.

  4. Bromeliads are very much indoor plants in Europe, so some thing as big as that is almost unimaginable for me!! A wonderful experience for me. :)

thank you for your visit to mine.

  19. Great composition, Noel. In form the brameliads are similar to the yucca of the southwest but so different as to prefered climate.

  20. Wow, great shot. Amazing plant. I once grew a pineapple plant from the top and it was a smaller version of this. Same family - bromeliad.
