Time for a Luau

Going to a real luau to celebrate some special occasion is part of enjoying life here in Hawaii. When you include all the trimmings for a party like the kalua pig and hawaiian cuisine and of course the mai tais - it makes a real authentic and personal experience.

Hula dancers add to the excitement and entertainment for the event. A local Halau or dance troop performs dances that are relevant to the luau and the celebrants of this special party.

If you get invited to participate in a luau, don't hesitate and wear your best aloha wear - you will have a great time, guaranteed.

  1. I'd love to go to an authentic luau some day where we have pig roasted in the ground. Do the native hawaiians have luaus like this for friends and family? I'd rather go to one of those than to a hotel organized event.

  4. Except for the pig part, sounds great (I'm a vegetarian)! You certainly live in a beautiful place Noel.

    Happy Wednesday, G :<)
